SHALOM JIREH BAUTISTA IGLESIA

One of the first things God laid on the hearts of our Mission Volunteers was the need for a church.  A place where the believers could gather for worship and discipleship.

A piece of property caught our eye.  It was in a prime location - right across from the Conevisa school.

Our teams began praying over this property claiming it for God's glory.

The owner had plans to build a bar on this property with a brothel over it.  However, God prevailed, and we were able to purchase the property in February of 2010.

We broke ground in August of 2010 and volunteers from 11 different church gathered to build Shalom Bautista Iglesia. It is a beautiful building and a true light in the colony of Conevisa.

Our vision continues as we are in the process of adding a three-story addition to the church.  The addition will provide children's ministry space, career training space, and housing for Pastor Ruben and his family.
